Live the good times!!!

This week there were some unexpected guests to my house ... It was one of my cousin and a friend of mine.
After a long busy life we all had time to meet. Do you think you need to guess what happens when girls meet :), naaaaaaa.... bocz its just chitchat..chitchat...chitchat.
It was same here and we were ON till midnight :)
All that we had to talk about was, about our newly married life. It was all about changes that each of us was going through, that new life, new things, new people. All about 'NEW' .
Though each of was finding it tough to accept the change, everybody was happy in thier own way. Trying to accept the change and be the best.

Spending time with friends and loved one's, makes you feel good and light hearted. It's always the goodtimes that you can never forget.

I miss my booster :(

No much work these days and Im getting bugged up a lot. I have completely lost interest in reading :( and enthusiasm to learn new things.
I remember those days when I used to work a lot and get involved in it so much. I completely forget outside world. Now I feel, I have lost all my interest and living like an aimless creature.
Before this, whenever I lost interest in anything, my sis used to boost me up and I got all my energy and enthusiasm back.

I miss it :(. She was my real booster.
Dear... u were secret of my energy :)

"It all depends on the way you look at things"

Traffic is pathetic these days. Moving around the city is a nightmare.
I have to travel for more than two hrs to commute from office to home. All my life is spent in travelling :(. Its so frustrating and I feel one doesnt understand this frustration until they go through it. I find it terrible to travel for such a long time. But I have no other option and feel it is my biggest problem for which im not able to find a solution.

But today I was talking to my friend and she was mentioning about an 13 year old girl who died of bone cancer. She was the only child for them. Her parents knew about cancer and even the girl. Its so hard to live when you know that your not going to live longer. However hard the parents try, they cannot save their child, there was no solution to this problem.

After listening to this, I realised that LIFE was good for me and things that I was complaining about, could not be called problematic. Its all about one's perception and how we take it. By turning a minor dilemma into a major crisis, a problem becomes a major source of distress and results in unhappiness.

Thoughts!!! My daily dose....

Motivation is like food for the brain. You cannot get enough in one sitting. It needs continual and regular top ups.

Reading 'Thoughts' motivate me ....I read them for hours.. just to feel good. Especially when I feel low and nobody around me to console. Its like cup of coffee that you get when u badly need one. It sets me up and back in right mood :)

Thoughts set me up!
Thoughts set me right!!
Thoughts make me feel good!!!
Thoughts help me think positive!!!!
Thoughts help me move on!!!!!

If you obey all the rules, you will miss all the FUN!!!

Thats so right na???

I remember my college days, where we used to escape from classes when lecturer made an entry. There was not much break between class period and we didnt get a chance to refresh.  We got bugged up sitting in classes from 9 to 5. Sometimes it was so boring.
We - gang of 3 found some ways to refresh ourselves :).... guess how ???
Once the bell rang, another lecturer made an entry and all the students stood up to wish them, by that time we managed to get out of back door. I know its not right..but chaltha hai :)
Do you think you will get another chance like this??? Neverrrr Everrrr ...

There were days where we used to bunk classes and go to aunty's shop and have fun for hours. But we made sure that there was enough attendance :)
Our lecturer's were very strict. We could not even talk much in their lab sessions. But we had most of the fun while we were in labs. We chat and giggle and get scoldings but never stopped giggling :). After coming out of the lab, just scold the lecturer and forget everything and start giggling again.

Somethings are meant to be done at right time and you wont get another chance to have such fun. :)

Remember the things that made you glad, forget the things that made you sad, Life is full of such special moments ensure you dont forget one.

Enjoy Life  :)

I wish I had captured that Smile...

This incident always brings a smile on my face whenever I remember it. So thought of sharing it...

This happened while I was in toronto for couple of weeks.
We always planned our weekends, but this time we didnt plan it well. We thought of visiting 'Casaloma' (a Castle built by Sir Henry Pellatt) on saturday, as the public transport is less frequent on sundays.

We started our journey on saturday morning not knowing how to get to castle. We some how knew that we could make it. Last time when we had planned for castle, we were lost :( ...its bcoz we were miss guided. But on the same day I remember an old guy who guided us to get to Casaloma. So remembering his words we started to move towards subway. We got down in St Claire station hoping it to be the right location that we had to go.

After getting off the subway, we had to get street cars to reach castle. We followed the directions shown inside the subway and could reach the street car station.
Street cars? I had not seen it before.. its nothing but trains on road.
Not knowing where to get down, we enquired with somebody in the car and got down at the right stop. We had to walk for a while to reach the castle. Calling it a castle, I had a great imagination about it.

It was a cold day. We walked about a km and reached the castle. Took a round of the castle praising the guy who had built and lived in it. But it was not up to my imagination of a castle.
We had to walk back the whole way to make it up to street cars and I was damn hungry....
It was hard. With the backpacks, we walked like old women with a hunch back and made it up to the main street. Reached Don mills station and found something to eat.

As we had some shopping left, we had to find a way to reach the shop that we were looking for. We took the subway to reach the Queens station. On reaching Queens, we had go to Sumach street. Without knowing which street car to take, we stood there for a while looking for someone to help us.

I was looking around for somebody who could guide me.. at last I found an old man. They are very helpful :). I caught this guy and showed him the map to help me reach my destination. He suggested which street car to take. I thanked him for helping us. His response was something like this "Its your luck dear... luck matters. If your luck was not good, you would not have come to me... its all your luck". He was not ready to accept my thanks . Again when I thanked him, he reapeated his words :). All he said was my luck was good :).
Soon a street car came in and he asked us to step into it and said he will let us know when we arrive at destination. We got into the street car and after traveling for a while, an announcement came stating our stop name - Sumach Street. Before we could request for the stop, somebody had already done it for us. When I turned back to see who it was, it was him :), that old chap who guided us before :). He waved at me with a big SMILE on his face. I can never forget him and his smile. I wish I had captured that SMILE and i really mean it. I waved back at him and got down off the car.

We come across many people in life but we remember only few of them....

Gone are those days...

Its been a long time that i took a break...

Its the same old faces everyday... that early morning race.. same old work. Its so nice to get away from all these for a while. Its so nice to be not reachable.. no one to disturb u.. no worries.. just eat all ur favs and lay back n enjoy your days. Ahhh ahh.. I feel so relaxed by just imagining that.

I remember my days, where we used to go to grandma's place for 2 months for summer holidays. Just Play Eat and Sleep and forget school :). Steal mangoes from neighbours farm and all those funfilled games and naughty pranks. On top of it grandma's pampering. How nice :) . I never realised till today that it was so good. I really miss those days.

I wish i could go somewhere like that right now.

I miss it all :(

Naughty..Naughty..Naughty

I love that naughty guy.. i love his pranks:).. lovely character... its none other then Calvin
Clavin and hobbes is the best comic strip . Calvin, a six year old boy who has no friends and no extracurricular activities; The only people he ever sees are his parents...a highly precocious and adventurous kid who's only buddy is Hobbes(his stuffed tiger) amuses people with his pranks.

Today i read a strip where calvin forgets to do his homework - insect collection.
While on the way to school his frnd reminds about the homework. He says he forgot. Thinking that he has forgot to carry it to school, she pushes him towards his way to home and asks him to get it soon before the school bus arrives. As soon as calvin starts to collect instects lying around him - dead or alive, she realises that he has completely forgot to do his homework. Before he cud collect the insects, bus arrives and they reach school. For all his work that he did , he expects to get a 'D' grade instead of 'F'. He doesnt stop his pranks even after reaching school. He bugs his frnd to give glue to paste those insects before his teacher asks for his homewrk. His teacher notices his friend and punishes her instead of him. But still he is not guilty abt what he did... he says ' he tried to make her quite and she was distracting him'.

Those humorous antics of Calvin amuse people. Its kind of refreshing for me to read those strips. It makes me laugh loud. Thankful to what Bill Watterson has done.. hatssoff to his imagination. I wish that it comes back.
I always wish to have collection of Calvin and Hobbes comic

CALVIN.. the adorable :)

Enjoy Little Things...

Who doesn’t wait for Friday’s? A day that everyone wants to celebrate.. A day that everyone looks forward in a week.

I especially wait for this day to just go on a walk…eat junk food…watch movies till midnight and chit chat with my sis.
Friday's are colorful and u find happy faces everywhere. After all it’s the last working day of the week.. The day that everybody wants to enjoy and take a break from their daily work.

Celebrate the fact that you are alive.. there are no second chances.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Have fun !! :)

Ray of Hope!!!

It was 'My Day' to LOOK GOOD… FEEL IMPORTANT and BE HAPPY :) . Most awaited day of my Life. A day to be remembered and cherished. The day I got engaged.

Everyone has his/her part of love waiting for them. So, have patience and wait for the right time and right one to come. It's my personal experience :).

Things that belong to you can never be taken away by others... so, don’t loose hope n ' patience.
Enjoy and live 'sweet moments' of life.

Live in present, don’t regret your past and dream about future :)

Tring Tring....

I am one of those girls who doesnt like to carry heavy brick with me always and dont like to answer everybody all the time.. wondering wht it is? well im speaking about cell phone.

What are basic necessities of life? That's really an easy question to answer. A person requires food, water, clothing, and shelter to survive but there's onemore in the list these days... that's the cell phone.

I like being completely unavailable sometimes and dont like being available 24 hours a day. That's the whole point of going out. Being able to stay intouch is fine but making it a basic necessity with out which you cannot live is not acceptable.

I hate those phone rings.......

Hello World!

Inspired by my Sweet SIS, I had thought of writing the blog long back but never published it.
I always wanted to express my feelings. Why not? Let me give a 'TRY' ..

A new start a new beginning :)
